Meet Us

Shannon was a summer consultant at BCG in 2006 and joined the Boston office as a consultant in 2008.  She received her MBA from HBS, an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government where she was a Reynolds Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship, and a BA from Harvard University.  At BCG, Shannon has worked in Healthcare IT, financial services, and industrial goods.  Prior to HBS, she worked as a Program Manager at New Sector Alliance, a nonprofit consulting and talent development firm.  She is a native of Costa Rica, speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and enjoys spending time with her husband and new baby, traveling, and Latin dancing.

Larry, a senior partner and managing director in BCG’s Chicago office, is responsible for global recruiting at HBS. He joined BCG after graduating from HBS as a Baker Scholar.  Larry’s areas of expertise include strategy, diversity, and industrial goods. He has served as head of the Chicago, Dallas, and Monterrey offices, BCG’s strategy practice, and operations in Australia and Latin America. Larry holds a BA from Brown University.

Lisa joined BCG in 1983 and has been recruiting for the firm ever since. She is responsible for all North America-based recruiting for BCG’s offices in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.  Lisa is based in the Boston office.  She graduated from Boston University with a BS in business administration.  Lisa and her family try to spend as much time as possible at their home in Maine.

John is responsible for associate and consultant diversity recruiting efforts across BCG’s North American region.  Before joining BCG, John co-founded MBA JumpStart, a career-advisory and consulting firm, and at Eli Lilly went from financial analyst to CFO of a $2 billion U.S. business unit.  He also worked as a consultant at Hewlett Packard, and at Booz Allen Hamilton. John holds a BS in finance from Indiana University and an MBA from Duke University.

Sulakshana Bala, women's initiative captain, joined BCG in 2006. She earned her MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a 1st Class Honors degree in economics from the University of Durham in the UK. Prior to business school, Sulakshana worked in the London offices of Ernst & Young, where she focused on supply chain management and international corporate tax. Together with her husband, Sulakshana enjoys traveling, architecture and design, food and wine, and spending time on the beach with their lab.

Scott Davis, principal, Atlanta, joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2003 after receiving his MBA with honors from The Wharton School. Scott received his BS degree summa cum laude in textile chemistry from Auburn University. He is a member of the Healthcare Practice Area and global lead of the LGBT Network.

Since joining BCG, Scott has worked on projects in retail, automotive, durable consumer goods, information technology and healthcare. Prior to joining BCG, Scott worked for Taconic, Prada's Jil Sander group and Springs Industries in various management roles. Scott joined BCG to have the opportunity to work with dynamic, fun and interesting individuals as well as to deliver insight and impact to clients.
